Paddy's Green Shamrock shore / bagpipes
This is a vid of me playing Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore or the melody of the song Gleanntáin Ghlas Ghaoth Dobhair which translates to the green glens of Gweedore, a song a well known celtic music artist named Altan does. You will notice the drones sound differant. I put a copper pipe 14.5cm long into the top of the middle drone as you can see from the vid. I had to grind the end of the pipe that goes into the drone to a taper so it would fit. I used a hand-held grinder that plugs into an air compressor with a very small grinding disc. I had to open the bridle of the reed on the middle tenor to take more air or otherwise the reed shuts off. I then tune the middle tennor to the E note on the pipe chanter.
